Georges St. Pierre def. Carlos Condit
GSP put on an impressive performance at UFC 154, easily dominating the first two rounds of his encounter against "The Natural Born Killer." Bloodied early in the bout, Condit wasn't about to go down without a fight and he turned things around in the third round, dropping GSP with a head-kick -- that would have stopped a lesser fighter -- and following up with some brutal ground-n-pound.
However, GSP kept his composure, and he survived the ordeal. He came back strong in the fourth round, and he kept it up in the final round, solidifying his role as the greatest welterweight champion in UFC history. All three judges gave GSP the nod.
Johny Hendricks def. Martin Kampmann
Hendricks established himself as the top contender in the UFC's welterweight division, making quick work out of Kampmann. After a brief feeling out period, Hendricks caught Kampmann with a 4-3 combo, knocking the Dane out cold 46 seconds into their UFC 154 encounter.
Francis Carmont def. Tom Lawlor
Carmont seemed to get the better of the striking exchanges, but Lawlor controlled the grappling, keeping Carmont against the cage or on the ground for the majority of their UFC 154 encounter. Lawlor also threatened with a few submissions, but Carmont defended well. Unfortunately for Lawlor, two of the Octagon-side judges gave the Francis the nod, robbing him of the victory.
Rafael dos Anjos def. Mark Bocek
Dos Anjos looked awesome at UFC 154, completely dominating his 15-minute encounter against Bocek. Dos Anjos controlled the action while standing, displaying top notch takedown defense. When Dos Anjos decided to take the fight to the ground, he imposed his will there as well, threatening with a few submissions while breaking Bocek down with some ground-n-pound. All three judges scored the fight 30-27 in favor of dos Anjos, improving his UFC record to 6-4.
