The Seattle Sounders quickly found a solution to their goalkeeping problems, signing rookie goalkeeper Bryan Meredith on Sept. 12. Seattle picked Meredith up with its fourth pick (29th overall) in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft. The Sounders FC were put in a tough spot, when backup goalkeeper Terry Boss suffered a concussion during a World Cup qualifier while playing for his native Puerto Rico.
