The San Antonio Silver Stars were able to get a much needed win on August 30, defeating the Connecticut Sun 78-66. With the win, the Silver Stars were able to snap a six game losing streak, and are now two games ahead of the Los Angeles Sparks for the final spot playoff spot in the WNBA's Western Conference.
