The San Antonio Silver Stars were able to bring their losing streak to an end when they faced the Tulsa Shock on August 6. With San Antonio's 72-64 victory over the Shock, the Silver Stars are once again alone at the second spot in the WNBA's Western Conference standings. The Silver Stars wasted no time against the Shock, building up a seven point lead by halftime. The Shock put on a better performance in the second half, but were unable to make up for their poor first half performance.
